Every student has an advisor, every step of the way.

Purpose: The CoBIT Student Success Team builds relationships with students to support their well-being and development, help them explore personal, academic, and professional aspirations, and plan their unique path to graduation in a welcoming and inclusive space.

Goal: Our goal is to move beyond transactional advising by educating students about their degree requirements, empowering them to take ownership of their academic career, and coaching them through discovering solutions tailored to their individual success.

Career-readiness starts early. As your advisors, we take great pride in helping you identify your goals as a student, develop an academic plan to align with your interests, and choose balanced classes for your future success. We also make sure you have plenty of opportunities to develop an effective resume, navigate your way through internships, and master the art of networking with industry professionals.

What else do advisors do?

Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive space where students have the opportunity to grow.
Guide students in identifying opportunities to develop their own academic and professional goals.
Discuss time management, study strategies, and other academic skills.
Make referrals to appropriate campus resources and offices to foster student success.
